Fast Start Steam

The Insignia Signature Steam Generator also comes with intelligent fast-start steam. After the user activates the steam button, the steam will begin at 30 seconds, the water will be kept at 80°C and a 30-minute steam cycle will then run and switch off until it is re-activated by the user. This function is highly efficient and energy-saving, especially for commercial use.

Sectional Heating Technology

The steam generator incorporates 3 groups of heating elements that provide sectional heating technology™. It works by first powering all 3 groups which operate at maximum power to effect rapid heating. When the room temperature is almost reached, group 1 stops, when the required temperature is achieved, then group 2 stops. Group 3 alternates on and off to effectively maintain the room temperature.

Overheating Protection Technology

Built-in safety ensures that should the temperature go over your desired setting or the water temperature exceeds safety levels, the Signature Steam Generator will stop heating and go into protection mode. Only when the temperature levels return will the Signature Steam Generator continue operation.

If the room temperature reaches 2°C higher than the programmed setting, then all the heating elements stop working and go into a preservation state until the temperature drops. Additionally, should the water tank temperature reach over 115 °C the steam generator will stop further heating until it drops to a safe temperature, ensuring the safety of the user and longevity of the generator.

Low Maintenance Design

The top loading descaling port allows for easy access and quick descaling while the generator unit can be completely emptied via the drain valve and then rinsed through with fresh water when required. Low-level water protection will automatically place the Signature Steam Generator in Sleep Mode until correct water levels are achieved, ensuring essential components are protected.

Electrical Specification

1. The rated power is measured under a single phase of 230V, therefore the actual operating power under single phase 215-240V, 50/60Hz, or three phases 380-415V, 50/60Hz may be different from the rated value.
   
   
2. The 7.5kW generator can be made as 215-240V single phase or 380-415V three phases. Please note the earth wire should not be less than 1.5mm², and the live wire and null wire should not be less than 2.5mm².
   
   
3. The 10.5kW, 12kW, 15kW, and 18kW generators, can only be installed by 380-415V in three phases. Please note the earth wire should not be less than 2.5mm², and the live wire and null wire should not be less than 4.0mm².

Safety Warning

• Never allow children to use the steam function. This function is for ADULTS ONLY.
• Always be aware of the steam outlet position. Never use it close to the person using it.
• Exit the steam room immediately if feeling dizzy, faint, or short of breath.
• Do NOT use the steam room if you’re pregnant, have a heart condition, or have low or high blood pressure. If you’re unsure consult your GP before use.
• If you have any underlying health conditions that you feel could be aggravated by using a steam room, consult your GP before use.
• If you begin to have any issues with your health after using a steam room, stop immediately and consult your GP regarding your symptoms before continuing to use.
• Consult your GP before using the steam room if you’re on medication at all, especially with drowsy side effects.
• Never use this steam room if you have been drinking alcohol or under the influence of other substances.
• Always turn the power supply off after use.
• Proper ventilation is recommended for the steam room.

12-month warranty as standard. Upgrade the warranty to two years with the additional purchase and installation of an approved water processor/filter.
