Warranty, Returns & Refund Policy

At Peak Health and Fitness, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. Our returns policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and accommodating to meet the needs of our valued customers. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our policies.

1. General Returns

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, our general returns and refund policies are as follows:

1. Eligibility for Returns:

  • Products must be in their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging and tags intact.
  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days from the date of delivery.

2. Return Process:

  • Contact our customer support team at returns@peakhealthandfitness.co.uk to initiate the return process.
  • Provide the order number, reason for return, and any relevant details.
  • Our team will guide you through the return process, including the return address and any additional instructions.

3. Return Shipping:

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure the safe return of the item.

4. Refund or Exchange:

  • Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will process your refund or exchange.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Exchanges will be processed based on product availability.

5. Damaged or Defective Items:

  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately with photos of the product and packaging.
  • We will provide instructions for returning the item, and a replacement will be sent at no additional cost.

6. Restocking Fee:

  • A restocking fee may apply for certain returns. This information will be communicated to you during the return process.

Peak Health and Fitness reserves the right to update or modify this returns policy at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes on our website or through direct communication.

2. Warranties

It's important to note, that every brand will have a specific warranty associated with their products, we follow brand and product warranties set by our suppliers. IceTubs Warranty

1. Warranty Coverage

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under EU consumer protection laws, including the Directive 2019/771 on the Sale of Goods and Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, and does not affect those rights.

  • Consumers (Private Use): Standard 2-year warranty on manufacturing defects and component failures under normal use.
  • Business/Professional Use: 6-month warranty for commercial or professional use.
  • Exclusions: Rust or corrosion due to coastal exposure (within 20 km of the coast) is not covered. If you are placing your product in a coastal environment, contact us for protective measures at info@peakhealthandfitness.co.uk

2. Warranty Conditions

  • Private Use Only: This warranty applies only to private use unless stated otherwise in writing.
  • Warranty Service: Defective products will be repaired or replaced free of charge, with refurbished replacements after three months.
  • Exclusions: Labor and call-out charges are not covered.
  • Warranty Void: If damage results from improper use (see Section 6), the warranty is void.

3. How to Claim Your Warranty

If the product is found to be faulty within two years of purchase, EU consumer law assumes it was defective at the time of sale unless we can prove otherwise.

  • Consumers are encouraged to report defects as soon as possible for faster resolution but must report within two months of discovery for warranty claims.
  • Business/professional users must report defects within 14 days of noticing the issue.

Repairs must be performed by an Icetubs-approved technician.

Unauthorized repairs void the warranty.

4. Covered Components

The warranty covers defects in the following parts:

Ice Baths: Compressors, Condenser & heating, Fans, Main circuit boards, Lid, Temperature sensors, Vacuum pump, Water pump and Control panel

Saunas: Heating elements, Control panels, Interior/exterior panels, Benches, Doors and Wiring and electrical systems

5. Warranty on Replaced Parts

  • Replacing a part does not restart the original product warranty.
  • Replaced parts remain covered for the remainder of the original product warranty.
  • If a replaced part fails within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it with a refurbished part free of charge.
  • Labor costs for removal, replacement, or installation are not covered.

6. Proper Use & Warranty Exclusions

You must always use the Icetub correctly. Improper use voids the warranty.

6.1. Ice Baths - Outdoor Usage Restrictions

  • In frost below -5°C, detach and store the cooling unit indoors.
  • In frost below 1°C, run the cooling unit 24/7 on ‘automatic’ with timers inactive.

6.2. Ice Baths - Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Rust or corrosion on units placed within 20 km of the coast. Contact us for protective measures.
  • Improper use, including adding non-approved substances to the water.
  • Damage from transport or relocation, unless handled by Icetubs.
  • Improper installation, including placing the product on an uneven floor.
  • Failure to protect the engine, such as leaving it off or in ‘Cooling’ mode outdoors below freezing.
  • Placing foreign objects in the tub, such as glasses, toys, or other items.
  • Environmental damage from fire, flood, theft, pests, or extreme weather.
  • Failure to follow installation, operation, or maintenance instructions as provided by Icetubs.
  • Use of unauthorized chemicals, including chlorine, salts, magnesium, or corrosive substances.
  • Water damage to electrical components due to negligence.
  • Rust formation due to proximity to chlorinated pools or humid environments without ventilation.
  • Overheating due to poor ventilation, such as blocking fans or placing the unit too close to walls.
  • Electrical damage caused by ungrounded or improperly installed outlets, or poor electrical setup (e.g., placing the product too close to a socket or leaving the cord exposed).
  • Personal injuries, including slipping, falling, drowning, or blacking out while using the product.

6.3. Ice Sauna - Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Improper use, including exceeding the recommended temperature range.
  • Rust or corrosion on units placed within 20 km of the coast. Contact us for protective measures.
  • Damage from improper transport, installation, or modifications not authorized by Icetubs.
  • Water or moisture damage to electrical components due to exposure or improper sealing.
  • Overloading electrical circuits beyond recommended specifications.
  • Neglect, unauthorized repairs, or damage from normal wear and tear.
  • Personal injuries resulting from misuse, unsupervised use, or failure to follow safety guidelines.

7. Liability Disclaimer

  • Icetubs B.V. and Peak Health and Fitness are not liable for property damage, water damage, or personal injury due to improper use.
  • This warranty excludes indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use or economic loss.

8. Applicable Law and Disputes (EU)

This warranty is governed by Dutch law. However, if you are a Consumer in the European Union, your rights are protected under applicable EU consumer laws.

If a dispute arises, you may bring legal proceedings in either:

  • The competent courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands, or
  • The courts of your country of residence within the EU, as permitted by EU consumer protection laws.

In case of a dispute, you may also access Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms under EU Directive 2013/11/EU.
