Warranty, Returns & Refund Policy

At Peak Health & Fitness, we aim to provide complete clarity around your rights and our policies.

Because we sell high-value and large wellness equipment, the following terms are structured to protect both you and us while remaining fair and compliant with UK consumer law.

1. Your Statutory Rights (UK Customers)

If you are purchasing as a consumer in the United Kingdom, your rights are protected under:

  • The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

2. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Distance Selling)

For most standard products purchased online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason.

To exercise this right:

  • Notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving your item.
  • Return the item within 14 days of notifying us.

Conditions for Return Under Cooling-Off Period

  • Item must be unused.
  • Item must be in original packaging.
  • All accessories and manuals must be included.
  • Product must not be installed or connected to power.

If the item shows signs of use beyond reasonable inspection, a deduction may be made to reflect loss in value.

3. Large & Bulky Equipment Returns

Due to the size and freight cost of saunas, ice baths and similar equipment:

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.

  • Collection costs may be significant and vary depending on product size and location.

  • Original outbound delivery costs are non-refundable where specialist freight was used.

We will provide a collection quote upon request.

4. Made-to-Order & Custom Products

The 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to:

  • Custom-built products
  • Made-to-order saunas
  • Personalised items
  • Special-order products sourced specifically for you

These items are non-returnable unless faulty.

This will always be clearly indicated on the product page.

5. Return Process

To initiate a return:

Email: returns@peakhealthandfitness.co.uk
Include:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if applicable)

We will confirm next steps and provide return instructions.

We recommend using a tracked service for smaller returns.

6. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault:

  • Notify us within 24 hours for delivery damage.
  • Provide clear photos or videos.
  • Do not assemble damaged goods.

If a fault develops within 30 days of delivery:

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

After 30 days, we will first offer repair or replacement where appropriate.

7. Refunds

Once returned goods are received and inspected:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Processing may take 5–10 working days.
  • Deductions may apply for excessive handling beyond inspection.

8. Restocking Fees

For certain large items, a restocking fee may apply where:

  • Supplier charges apply
  • The item was ordered specifically for you
  • The product is returned outside cooling-off rights

Any such fee will be communicated clearly before processing.

9. Brand & Manufacturer Warranties

Most products are covered by manufacturer warranties.

Warranty periods vary by brand and product type.

Details are shown on individual product pages.

Warranty typically covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Component failure under normal use

Warranty does not cover:

  • Improper installation
  • Environmental damage
  • Coastal corrosion (unless stated otherwise)
  • Incorrect electrical setup
  • Misuse or negligence
  • Commercial use unless specified

Warranty service may involve repair or replacement.

Labour, call-out charges, and installation costs are typically not covered unless stated by the manufacturer.

10. Ice Baths & Sauna Specific Conditions

For outdoor units:

  • Proper electrical setup is required.
  • Units must be installed on level surfaces.
  • Freezing protection guidance must be followed.
  • Unauthorised repairs void warranty.

We are not liable for:

  • Property damage caused by improper installation
  • Electrical issues due to incorrect wiring
  • Personal injury resulting from misuse

11. Commercial Use

Unless explicitly stated, products are sold for domestic/private use.

Commercial use may:

  • Reduce warranty period
  • Void certain coverage terms

12. Liability Limitation

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss
  • Loss of business
  • Loss of income
  • Property damage resulting from improper use

Nothing in this section limits liability where prohibited by UK law.
