Shipping Policy

Overview

At Peak Health & Fitness, we specialise in large, high-value wellness equipment including saunas, ice baths, red light therapy systems and performance recovery products.

Because many of our items are bulky and specialist in nature, delivery terms are clearly outlined below to ensure a smooth and transparent experience.

Order Confirmation & Payment Processing

When you place an order:

  • Your card will be pre-authorised at checkout.

  • We confirm product availability with the supplier.

  • Once availability is confirmed, payment is captured.

  • Your order is then scheduled for dispatch.

If there is any delay or stock issue, we will contact you promptly before processing payment.

Delivery Methods

Delivery type depends on the product ordered.

1. Pallet / Kerbside Delivery (Most Large Items)

For saunas, ice baths and larger equipment:

  • Delivered via pallet courier

  • Kerbside delivery only (to the nearest accessible point)

  • Driver is not responsible for bringing items inside the property

  • Customer must arrange positioning beyond kerbside

  • Access must be suitable for large vehicle delivery

Please ensure:

  • Clear access to the property

  • Adequate space for unloading

  • Assistance available if required

2. 1-Man or 2-Man Delivery (Where Stated)

Some products offer:

  • 1-man kerbside delivery (standard)

  • Optional 2-man delivery & positioning (additional cost)

Where positioning is selected:

  • The item will be placed in a ground floor room of choice

  • Installation does not include electrical connection

3. Delivery & Installation Services (Saunas)

Where installation is included:

  • Sauna is delivered and assembled

  • Positioned in agreed location

  • Electrical hook-up is NOT included

  • A qualified electrician must complete final connection

Customer is responsible for ensuring:

  • Adequate power supply

  • Correct electrical specification

  • Safe and level installation surface

Lead Times

Estimated lead times (unless otherwise stated on product page):

UK Mainland:

  • 2–10 working days depending on brand and product

Ireland:

  • 2–11 working days depending on brand and product

Some larger or made-to-order items may require extended lead times. Where known, this is displayed on the product page.

Working days exclude weekends and bank holidays.

Shipping Costs

Standard UK Shipping:

Orders under £500: £20
Orders £500 and above: Free

Ireland Shipping:

Orders under £500: £30
Orders £500 and above: Free

Certain oversized items (e.g. large ice baths) may incur specialist freight charges. These are clearly stated on the product page prior to purchase.

Delivery Inspection & Damage Reporting

Due to the size and value of our products, inspection at delivery is essential.

Upon delivery:

  • Inspect all packaging thoroughly.

  • Note any visible damage before signing.

  • Photograph any concerns immediately.

If damage is identified:

Failure to report visible damage within 24 hours may affect the ability to claim with the courier’s insurance provider.

Access & Customer Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Ensure safe and suitable access to the property

  • Confirm adequate space for the product dimensions

  • Ensure electrical readiness where applicable

  • Arrange additional assistance if required

We are not responsible for:

  • Access restrictions

  • Failed delivery due to unsuitable access

  • Costs associated with redelivery attempts

Cancellations

Orders cancelled within 48 hours of placing may be refunded in full (provided not dispatched).

If an order has already been dispatched:

  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Specialist freight items may incur collection charges.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

Important Notes

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Installation services do not include electrical work.

  • Outdoor products must be placed on suitable foundations.

  • Any additional site preparation is the customer’s responsibility.
