The Story Behind Peak

I Bought PEAK From a Chemo Chair

In October 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage IV oesophageal cancer. I was only 35. My sons were 3 and 1.

Within days, I started building a protocol around everything I could control - inflammation, circulation, stress load, sleep, metabolic resilience. I wasn't going to sit and wait.

Infrared sauna every morning. Cold immersion three times a week. Red light therapy daily. I sourced the equipment, tested it, and tracked what actually made a difference.

By summer 2025, my scans showed nearly all of my cancer was gone - bar some distal thickening of the oesophagus - I'm now aiming for No Evidence of Disease (as close to remission as I can get) within the coming months.

WHY PEAK EXISTS

Why I Bought PEAK

When I started looking for recovery equipment, I found the same problem everywhere: vague specs, no real information, and retailers who clearly either didn't use, or understand, what they sold.

I'd spent my career in financial crime compliance and M&A advisory. I know how to evaluate a business. So when Peak came up for sale in mid-2025, I didn't just see a shop - I saw a platform I could rebuild around the standards I'd already been applying to my own recovery.

I acquired the business in December 2025 and stripped it back. The catalogue went from over 1,000 products to around 160. Every product that stayed had to meet one test:

Would I spend my own money on this?

If the answer was no - or even maybe - it went.

What's Actually Different

What You Get When You Buy From PEAK

Equipment I use myself. The saunas, ice baths, and red light panels on this site are the same ones in my daily protocol. I'm not guessing whether they work. I know, because I depend on them.

Real specifications.
If a product doesn't come with proper specs - temperature range, power draw, dimensions, materials - we either get them from the manufacturer or we don't stock it. You shouldn't have to guess what you're buying at these price points.

Honest advice. I'll tell you when a £500 product does 90% of what the £3,000 version does. I'll also tell you when the expensive one is genuinely worth it. I've tested enough of these to know the difference.

A 2-year warranty on everything. Plus free UK delivery on orders over £250, Klarna finance on all products, 14-day returns, and a UK-based support team (It's usually me myself - Monday to Friday, 9am-4:30pm).
