FAQs
How Do I Keep The Water Clean And Safe To Use?
The Glacial Dip™ includes a 1,249 L/h filter pump to help keep water crystal clear. For longer-lasting water quality, we recommend treating your water with chlorine tablets in a floating dispenser and regularly checking your chemical levels.
See our full range of ice baths and water care solutions in the Ice Bath Collection.
Do I Need To Use Chemicals In The Ice Bath?
While optional, water treatment is highly recommended. If you don’t use chemicals, you’ll need to change the water every 3 days. If you do treat the water, maintain the following:
Total Alkalinity: 80–120 ppm
pH: 7.4–7.6
Calcium Hardness: 200–400 ppm
Cyanuric Acid: 30–50 ppm
Free Chlorine: 2.0–4.0 ppm
Order replacement filters as needed: Chill Tubs Ice Bath Filter.
How Often Should I Change Or Clean The Water?
Without chemical treatment, change the water every 3 days. With proper chemical balance and filtration, you can extend this to up to 3 months. Regularly skim the surface and rinse filters every few uses, replacing them every 2
