• Access to space: Monk’s grill at the back of the unit needs fresh air in order for our integrated cooling unit to work efficiently, so we recommend leaving adequate space around it.
• Ambient temperature: Monk has been designed to work in temperatures from 0°C up to 40°C. Lower cooling efficiency is expected if the ambient temp is over 24°C.
• Storage temperature: Monk must remain on when the ambient temperature drops below 0°C. This will ensure water is heated to a minimum of 3°C and air is constantly circulating through your bath, to avoid freezing in the pipes. Alternatively you can fully drain the bath.
